kasper13 Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 I got an email from the Sabres and it said through a promotion with WGR, I was able to buy tickets to either of the two Sabres home preseason games for $5.50 each in any seating level. Sounded like a good deal, so I was going to buy 2 tickets to the Saturday, September 17th game against Washington. I put in 2 tickets- best available. Came up Section 106, Row 7. Great deal right? Wrong. The processing & handling fees totaled $11.00. The $5.50 tickets are actually $11.00 each. Still a decent deal, I suppose, but couldn't they just say they are $11.00 each? I said to hell with it. I'm not spending the $3+ a gallon gas, $10 to park and the ticket processing fees to go watch a preseason game.
zonabb Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Because that's probably the price if you buy them at the window or maybe through Tops. But you always get hosed on the inline purchase. Still $11 isn't all that bad.
Fezmid Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Were you buying through Ticketmaster? They always rip you off.... Still, $11/ticket for those seats is really sweet. You can't even get nosebleed seats for a preseason game in Minnesota for that cheap. CW
