mtdoak
Last night in my area....2.67.9 This morning.....2.79.9 OUCH!!! 422795 Did anyone get in on the 30-1 line that was being offered by online gambling sites that gas would reach $3/gal in NYC and LA. The only gambling I do is play poker, but you have to wonder about whether that bet was +EV or not for the online casinos.

No way they should raise gas prices for gas they already paid for by a dime a gallon. It takes days for shortages to affect prices
rockpile
Rochester, NY $2.53 (up one cent from yesterday) Wal*mart Plaza @ Hudson and E. Ridge Rd I have an 8 passenger '96 Buick Roadmaster Stationwagon the wife uses for business. Cost me $47 to fill up. This week we broke down and traded the 1992 Tracer wagon for a 2005 Honda Accord. Since we drive cars until the expense of repairs exceeds the book value, it is a good deal to me! Should be driving it until at least 2017. They sell us things we gobble up, throw our workers on the street, and have the cheek to suck up our oil. If they don't watch out, we will not be able to drive and buy their stuff

BB2004
3 dollars by the weekend 422797 Could be right, although here in Chicago its past 3.00 most places. Oil prices could easily hit $75 a barrel by the end of the week (Friday). So far it hasn't had an effect on the economy to much. Consumer Confidence came out today and it was much higher than expected. However the dow and nasdaq went down today
