erynthered Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20050831/1069845.asp That's why Holcomb may have been the Buffalo Bills' most important offseason acquisition. With quarterback J.P. Losman entering his first season as a starter, Holcomb is a valuable insurance policy because of his experience.
SDS Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 he is the perfect backup. Not talented enough to challenge the starter, but talented enough to win you games when needed. Too bad he hasn't been w/ us for 10 years, like Frank Reich.

I'm not disagreeing with that, but that's what it is...

But he knows why he was brought here, thats to back him up. With the hits that Qb's take in the NFL, I wouldnt be suprised if Holcomb starts 4 or 5 games this year just because of Mr. happy feet getting blasted by an LB.........
\GoBillsInDallas/ Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Nice Holcomb article424349[/snapback] Yeah, all 1/3 of it. Buffalo News webmaster=RJ
