grabowr30045 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Some of my family members that decided to ride out the storm that lived 8 miles from the Bay were rescued this morning. The amazing thing is they were rescued while holding on to a tree that was floating in the water. They said the water that far inland was 14 ft. deep. Is that nuts or what?

Most of them went to Talahasse. They thought they were far enough inland (they don't offer flood insurance where they at to give you perspective).
