Bill from NYC Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 We are breaking tradition and staying there before and after the Miami game. Is the food top shelf?
BuffaloDynamite Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Yes, I have been there many times. The overnight package at the Garden Place Hotel is a great deal too.
Marv Levy Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Don't know about the rooms but the food is excellent.
Risin Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Yes, I have been there many times. The overnight package at the Garden Place Hotel is a great deal too. 423067 Totally agree, wife and I stayed there after our wedding. Don't have a bad thing to say about the place.
Blue Chipper Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Food is excellent. Wife and I were just here a few weeks back. They have a nice dinner for two menu with 4 or 5 choices. Never had a bad meal there.
JohnnyFairPlay001 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 If you're comparing it to other Italian food in this area, it is not "the best" but I am sure for a couple of tailgait fans it should be ok.
Stussy109 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 rooms were typical posh luxury rooms, food (when I was there 3 yrs ago) was pretty weak in my opinion. Good food compared to the avg restaurant, but weak considering the status of the restaurant. Excellent service though.
N.Y. Orangeman Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Service is great, food is very overrated (but good) and does anyone else think it is the gaudiest place on the face of the earth?
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Service is great, food is very overrated (but good) and does anyone else think it is the gaudiest place on the face of the earth? 423248 Gaudy, but clean, and reasonably priced for a jacuzzi room with the dinner for 2 special.
BuffaloDynamite Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Service is great, food is very overrated (but good) and does anyone else think it is the gaudiest place on the face of the earth? 423248 Yes, but that's the intent.
buckeyemike Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 How about Ilio DiPaolo's? How is the food there? Mike
BuffaloDynamite Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 How about Ilio DiPaolo's? How is the food there? Mike 424154 Good Food, Good Atmosphere
BILLS02138 Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Service is great, food is very overrated (but good) and does anyone else think it is the gaudiest place on the face of the earth? 423248 Food is pretty good... but the gaudiest place on earth? Um, have you ever been to New Jersey? Long Island? Even Boston's North End has some pretty cheesy places (but that's where the food and pastry's rock!)
Anon Y. Mous Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Whats with all the bodies in front of that place? That place looks worse than Ponderosa. You couldn't pay me to go near there. Well maybe $50 will do.
