Nice list.

One question, why is Neufeld even on the roster? He a a 5/6 year vet.

Hasn't ever done anything has he? Probably won't get better at this point.

Closest thing to a blocking TE on the roster, plus can back up Shelton at FB (note that KH's roster only goes one deep there), plus plays STs. Kinda like a utility infielder/pinch-hitter.

Although if Everett hadn't shredded his knee, he probably would have knocked RN off the roster....

OK, sounds good to me. Thanks.

I count you have 2 players in PUP, but I believe players in PUP are not counted against the final 53 rosters if Bills declared them inactive.

Thus, you add two more players to your list.

I was thinking the exact same thing. If you remember in 2003, McGahee was on the PUP for the first 6 weeks of the season and did not count against the 53 man roster. Once his time on the PUP was done, he was placed on the 53 man roster instead of IR.

C (2): Teague, Tucker

DE (4): Schobel, Kelsay, Denney, Ritzmann

DT (5): Adams, Edwards, Anderson, Sape, Bannan

OLB (4): Spikes, Posey, Stamer, Crowell

MLB (2): Fletcher, Haggan

CB (5): Clements, McGee, Thomas (PUP), Greer, King

SS (2): Milloy, Wire

FS (2): Vincent, Baker

PRACTICE SQUAD (8):

FB Goldsberry, WR Wilson, TE Trafford, G Geisinger, DE Gause, MLB Ezekiel, CB Fontenot, FS Leonhard

INJURED RESERVE (4):

WR Vann, G Smith, G Sobieski, LB Brantley

Which leaves the all-out cuts (9):

QB Matthews

QB Thompson

FB Burns

TE Cieslak

G Jerman

C Esposito

LB Hunter

CB Oglesby

CB Richardson

I'd like to hear everyone's feedback. I don't know if Mularkey and Co would be willing to go with only 2 QB and 1 FB on the roster, but my logic is that we'd be just as well off with Moorman as our emergency QB and Neufeld/Gates/2nd TE/3rd WR as our replacement FB.

Cieslak on the Practice squad instead of Trafford. And maybe Gause will be in there instead of Ritzman

i do believe that we won't keep 7 receivers. also i am calling that justin bannan does not make it through the final cut as it paves the way for lauvale sape to get more time.

Some interesting lists and comments.Of course the pup players are not counted on the 53 man roster. So i would add burns and matthews back on.They wont go with two qbs this year. Also i would release reed, hes proven that he cant cut the mustard.I would also keep leonhard over baker, but the bills probably wont make that switch. The bills wont make a placekicker change before opening day..but during the season they may have too.

I think Dorenbos stays:

"He's done well," coach Mike Mularkey said of Preston. "He's gotten a chance the last couple games. I'm not sure he's exactly what we're looking at, but I feel comfortable he could do it in case of an emergency."

Dosen't look like Mularky trusts Preston to do it full time.

Also Matthews stays....You almost always go with 3 QB's.
