Max Fischer
Following his 9-21 for 76 and two interceptions preseason game against New England, Farve said there was no point playing in the regular season. Insiders speculate that Farve quit before team officials officially cut him due to declining skills and the Packers decided it was best to hand the team over to the newly acquired Rob Johnson. An unnamed source said that Farve's preseason game performance indicated "he was washed up."

fairweather fan
I watched the first half of the Packers/Patriots preseason game. My brother has season tickets for the packers. I E-Mailed him, telling him that he is lucky that Bears and Lions are in the same division, as it gives the Pack a chance to win four games. A photo of the Cal quarterback draftee against the Patriot rush should be placed next to the "Deer caught in the headlights" quote in a thesaurus. UConn James
Peyton isn't looking very good against Denver's defense, a defense he smoked for over 40 points twice (count 'em TWICE) last season. Per that Gatorade commercial, they must not have kept him hydrated. Just a backhanded way of saying "Chill out." Defenses have the advantage this early in the going. That JP has struggled a bit isn't enough to get your panties in a bunch, yet.

Mike Anderson for a 93 yd TD right up the gut.
