Spikes16 Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I just dont think he looked like he had the speed burst like we saw last season. maybe Chicago's defense is really that good. I am not real happy with what I have seen so far this pre-season. But it is just that, pre-season. Wait and see, I guess.
grabowr30045 Posted August 27, 2005 Posted August 27, 2005 I think the speed is still there. He put a juke on that safety yesterday and still was able to get to the outside on Urlacher yesterday. On the other hand, I do not see the speed that he had with Miami. Losman's play has to improve otherwise it's going to be a long season on offense (teams will put 8 in the box).

It's pretty worriesome for a line suppousedly built to run block they can't push people off the los. It's hard to show speed when you have to dodge defenders in your own backfield.

He's prob saving himself for the real games. The line, on the other hand, is a different matter entirely.
