Honest opinions now. Of the active players now. Who would do you think, if their career ended today, would make it to Canton, Ohio? Obviously Rice and Farve are locks.. But, who else would you put in?

Off the top of my head:

Ray Lewis

Marshal Faulk

Marvin Harrison

Curtis Martin

Tom Brady

Jerome Bettis (I wouldn't vote for him, but he prob has the stats to get in)

Orlando Pace

Jonathan Ogden

Terrell Owens

Adam Vinitari

Deon Sanders

Warner??? this sounds really really dumb... but how many players, QB's especially, have won 2 league MVP awards?

I think he has a better shot than Tasker... Which is still barely any shot

IMO, he was a flash in the pan. Despite the MVPs, he only had 3 productive years before the ceiling fell in. Most HOF QBs have much longer careers.

Still too early for Manning or Moss, but I fully expect they will both end up there.

Good list what about Manning or Randy Moss?  Would you give them the nod?

I actually had Moss on the list then took him off, he's close. One or two more average years for Moss and he's a lock. Same for Manning.

Larry Allen is a lock, don't see how I forgot him

Can also add:

Tim Brown

Michael Strahan

Gary Anderson

On second thought I'm not sure Vinitari would make it right now. He has the SB rings but I'm not sure he has the longevity, which tends to be important for kickers.
