RB Eddie George

Saw him in the annoucers booth during a preseason contest. Just wondering if he retired. He was a beast, but stunk in Dallas correct? I know he had a knee problem though. Man, RB's last what, 3 yrs avg?!

I had heard he was going to do a one day deal with the Titans, and retire...although I never actually saw any coverage of the PC anywhere. He had wanted to come back and play another year, but only for the Titans. They were not interested.

For what it's worth, he was doing the color for the Titans game this past weekend.

Eddie George...NINE years in the NFL and 2865 carries. I think the wear and tear of being a RB for that long has caught up with him.

Yeah, I didn't mean Eddie was in the league for 3 yrs. I know he was longer. But it just seems these guys take such a beating that 3 yrs is a long avg.
