Wiz Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I like the way Gates looked on Saturday, but that was against future practice squad players. Shaud Williams looked good last week, but he had some gaping holes to run through. ReShard Lee has looked ok running the ball. The only one I think may be out of the running is Burns who is too small to carry the load, but probably will be kept for special teams.

inkman Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I think the backup running back should be JP. He looked pretty good running to me. Better yet, maybe they could work out a trade with NE and get Doug Flutie to back up Willis.
Kelly the Dog Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 I think it's Shaud Williams as #2 and Gates as #3 with Burns still making the team as FB#2 plus RB#4 and ST.
MattyT Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Wow. 23 votes and I'm the only one who thinks it will be Lee?
Reuben Gant Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Wow. 23 votes and I'm the only one who thinks it will be Lee? 414058[/snapback] maybe you're seeing something in Lee that the rest of us are not.
