VABills Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 He seemed to be in on a lot of play, not just QB pressure, but was making a lot of tackles on running plays from the backside/cutback lanes. I was very happy to see him involved more in the overall game plan, instead of just teeing off on the QB. Also, seemed like both Kelsay and Denney too were invloved a lot today. A few concerns were, it seemed like Pat Williams and Posey were both absent. While Adams seems to be taking up space, and really seemed to blow some plays up even if he didn't get the tackle, it just seemed Williams was absent from any of the action. I know Fltcher seemed to have a decent day on run stopping and this is in effect due to the DT's, but it really looked like Adams was the more responsible person.
YOOOOOO Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Schobel did show great awareness on run plays....Still isnt that dominate pass rushing DE but he is solid all around DE...and the best we have... I agree Williams didnt force much, and Adams did have the better game as he did blew up some plays in the backfield but its obvious they both did there job....Jags had no success running between the guards...I'd say our 30+ year old DT's looked better then there young "STUDS"
