This would another year and opportunity to resolve this issue. My understanding is that the player gets paid what the top 5 players are at this position. What do you think that will be? I'll take a stab and say somewheres in the neighborhood of 9 million. I think that might be a better scenario than to overpay now or to lose him at the end of the year. opefully this will all be resolved BEFORE the beginning of the season.
