The Riddler Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 http://www.wgr550.com/fullstory.php?id=1026 Thats not very encouraging.....considering Willis will likley be out tomorrow as well. I was just reading an article on fred smoot who left the game the other night with a knee bruise that at first was considered a ding but now thinks it is something worse and is having an MRI. That injury didnt look good the other night.
kota Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Until he goes to get a MRI I wouldn't worry about it. His knee is probably stiff besides Willis can sit out the rest of training camp and still start week 1. YOu worry to much drink a beer and grab a woman.
The Riddler Posted August 16, 2005 Author Posted August 16, 2005 well lets face it, if willis is out so are the bills. I think Willis, Clements, Moulds, Evans and Spikes are season killers if lost(any of them)
BillsWatch Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I think you need to add Moorman to list. I maybe McGahee's agent may have encourged him to sit out some plays since the real money is in regular season and it is debateable whether he can last an entire season since many sophmores can't.. I am sure his agent's FIRST priority is Willis getting yards (even if they do not lead to wins), awards, etc which he can try to leverage for more $$$ in a holdout.
Wacka Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 We're DOOOOOOOMED!!!!!!!!!!!! There, I was the first to say it. Lighten up Francis.
NJ_BillsFan Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 He's sitting out because he doesn't need to be out there. He needs to rest and be 100% on opening day.

From what everyone is saying about our backups, Spikes probably wouldn't be a showstopper either (although it'd hurt, and he is my favorite current player). CW
Tux of Borg Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 What a BUST! TD needs to get the dolphins on the line and trade for Ricky Williams ASAP.
Thailog80 Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 What a BUST! TD needs to get the dolphins on the line and trade for Ricky Williams ASAP. 408602 NFW man....lets give Tennessee a first rounder to get TH back.
Dan Gross Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 NFW man....lets give Tennessee a first rounder to get TH back. 408604 NFW, we can probably get Antowain Smith from the Saints cheaper, maybe a second rounder, and he's a proven winner with two rings to show for it!

BuffaloRebound Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I'd say the guys the Bills can least afford to lose are in order: McGahee (which I would guess is why he is sitting out practice), Clements, Spikes, Sam Adams, and Evans or Moulds. I would have said Milloy but with Vincent back there now, I think he could cover up for a new SS.
bschmoove Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I'd be lying if I said I didn't hold my breath when everytime Willis touches the ball. I'll prolly feel the same way until he stays healthy through an entire season.
Dan Gross Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Why stop there, i heard our QB is a bust as well. 408607 Travis Brown was looking pretty good on Saturday...wonder what the Colts would want for him...?
buckeyemike Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 Let's just have fun and see how it all unfolds. We all worry too much. Mike
d_wag Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 i love how the same people who are downplaying willis missing practice were making a huge deal about jonas missing practice last week.......complete hypocrites........
Tom Posted August 16, 2005 Posted August 16, 2005 I'd disagree on Moulds. From what everyone is saying about our backups, Spikes probably wouldn't be a showstopper either (although it'd hurt, and he is my favorite current player). CW I disagree with you.... Moulds looked like the All Pro that he is last nite & this team needs him.
