Realist Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Man, I keep reading all these posts about how optimistic everyone is about the future of this team and I'm amazed that so many gullible, kool-aid-sucking, Bledsoe-loving, Henry-hating losers can congregate on one message board and look any stupider than you all do right now. Maybe you pickle-kissing rump rangers are happy with 16 penalties and a quarterback who couldn't stand still if you stapled his feet to the turf, but not me. Oh, sure, I know it was just one preseason game with a quarterback who has never started an NFL game in his entire surfer-boy-mullet-headed life, but no one can see what I see and what I see is unlike anything you've seen because I see what is truth and the rest of you see what is just a bunch of moronic crap. And if you disagree with me you should just be warned that you're nothing but an asssclown moron. What's the sense of playing the game if you aren't going to win a Super Bowl? Exactly. This team sucks beyond all levels of suckitude and if you think that beating a Colts team sitting 20 of its starters is cause for celebration, than you've got all the mental capacity of an ice cube. Go ahead and be happy with mediocrity, but when we're 0-7...and worse yet, when seven games have gone by and we haven't won a one of them...you assclowns will remember who stood here and told you what a bunch of Hulk Hogan-loving sissyboys you are. Our team sucks. And Ice is gone. Deal with it. 408089 Loved it LA!! This post brought back a lot of memories! Mostly bad.
rockpile Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 This team sucks beyond all levels of suckitude 408089 POTD (nice ya-ya's too)
Thailog80 Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Actually, I normally frown up talking about the departed, but you weren't here for the tirade that I remember most, so I'll make an exception. Many years ago we signed Sam Gash instead of Tony Carter to be our FB. Well, the rant of the day was that no team w/o a great fullback had won the SB in how many friggin' years, etc... We were now stuck w/ an over the hill bum in Gash, while a marquee type FB like Tony Carter was being signed by NE. We were destined for the cellar. Butler was a piece of crap, yadda, yadda, yadda... 408109 Gee our old LaSalle ran great.....those were the days.
Simon Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 But, aren't we playing last year's patsy schedule again Yeah we were only in the league's best division and played a schedule that included 9 games against playoff teams. I'll be waiting for your long list of all the other teams' schedules that were so much tougher than ours.

It makes the off season move along with more alacrity.)
JoeF Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 God bless the Hulkster. He was a wrestler who changed the world.... 408114 Dammit, where's that number to Ahr & Ahr & associates when I need it? I need intellectual property counsel now--anyone volunteering??? This thread brings back memories....and then TD goes and resigns Gash what a freakin assclown...
The Tomcat Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 I understand what your saying LA but I'll hold my reservations for another game or two.....The penalties will work themselves out for the most part. We still have a Great D and a Great back.....I figure about .500 maybe...one game one way or another.....JP's gonna have his moments but so did Bledsoe........I know there will be growing pains but good things are coming...

Kelly the Dog Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 LA-ICE! What an assclown you turned out to be. We should put you and your friggin' moronic posts to the curb and run you out of town.
Bill from NYC Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Beautiful. I can hear him now. (And you should not frown upon talking about the departed. Embrace it. It makes the off season move along with more alacrity.) 408149 ICE had his problems, but he did add some passion to the board. He and I had some heated exchanges well before you ventured on to TSW. It is not up to me who is banned/not banned. This is up to SDS and the mods, who do a great job. I would never dare question them, and consider myself lucky to post here. If it makes you feel better about yourself to blast him, continue on. Again, the guy posted about some serious issues that he had. Personally, I hope that he is OK.
Ghost of BiB Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Good money on some folks from PPP thinking this post is REAL. You'd be surprised how they miss the "subtley" of sarcasm. 408120 It's not?
Beerball Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 .....sniff sniff....I love you Mock. That was beautiful. 408105 At least you took it like a man.

stuckincincy Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Good money on some folks from PPP thinking this post is REAL. You'd be surprised how they miss the "subtley" of sarcasm. 408120 Sarcasm is at the very bottom of the comedic arts and is not subtle. The general idea of same is to belittle or mock, unlike wit (educated insult), buffoonery (side-splitting), or humor (combining the former two, with underlying cleverness or irony or turn of phrase). Sarcasm is a failure as writ; it is a verbal art. So says me.
Reuben Gant Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 From Wikkepedia Sarcasm in electronic communication Because it is vocally-oriented, sarcasm can be difficult to grasp in written form and is easily misinterpreted. To prevent this some people end sarcastic comments on the Internet with an assclown moron pirate .
Fan in Chicago Posted August 15, 2005 Posted August 15, 2005 Damn - I'm in group 2. 408215 By choice or force of circumstance ?
