PJBrown Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 I am so sick of the Patriot love fest that has been going on the past few years (granted, the definitely earned it)...from now on I am going to refer to them as "Those we don't speak of"... For example: I hope JP plays better against "Those we don't speak of" than he did in his first ral season action last year.

Simon Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 If you're objective is to lower the Pats' standing while minimizing recognition, you'll be accomplishing the opposite by ascribing them a name and status separate from the rest of the league. Cya

I want that 2 hours of my life back.
drnykterstein Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 They don't deserve the honor of that name. The just deserve 'pats', 'patsy' or other girly names with similar meaning. Nothing above that. "The manly Bills beat the girly Pats like a bunch of naggy wives" ..ha
jad1 Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 I'd think that the movie that would remind you of the Pats and their fans would be called The Village Idiot. (Relax, it's just a joke! )
R. Rich Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 You mean like what a piece of crap that movie was? I want that 2 hours of my life back. 406004[/snapback] After that and 'Signs', I'm beginning to wonder if M. Night Shyamalan is as good as we thought he was after 'The Sixth Sense' and 'Unbreakable'.
NJ_BillsFan Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 I would rather listen to Theisman speak for 3 hours than watch that movie again. No wait, that would be frigin horrible. I would rather watch the Village and like it.
Smoker2Buffalo Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 I actually really liked "The Village" and "Signs". I think M. Night Shyamalan is a pretty good director.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 "The Sixth Sense" was a good movie. But the rest of M. Night's movies have had a decent premise, but fallen flat because they were poorly developed. Frankly I think "The Village" will be his last movie as a director, unless he gets projects where he's not also the writer.
Smoker2Buffalo Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 A film he wrote and will direct is currently in pre-production. "Lady in the Water" or something like that.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 A film he wrote and will direct is currently in pre-production. "Lady in the Water" or something like that. Does he have his own production company? And this one better be good, otherwise that WILL be it for him.

Excrutiatingly dull!!!
