YOOOOOO Posted August 12, 2005 Share Posted August 12, 2005 That was the nasiest collision i have ever seen in baseball...Beltran seemed to be ok...walked off field on his own... Two years ago, Marcus Giles and Andruw Jones met in the outfield but that was far worse! Jones walked away and continued playing. Giles was done for a long long time. He missed alot of that season. He would've been the NL's starting 2nd baseman in the All Star game. The year before that, he and Cubs pitcher collided while Giles was trying to field a ball. Again, he was disabled and missed a couple months or more. But he's one tough lil dude and I wouldn't trade him for the world. He's a hitter.
