Buckey
Who do you all suggest the draft order should be for RB, QB, WR etc... in Fantasy football? I like the young guys in favor of the old reliables just because of injuries and their age. Here's mine so far... I adjust it almost every day. RUNNING BACKS: Willis McGahee Julius Jones LaDanian Thomlinson Shaun Alexander Kevin Jones Jamal Lewis Rudi Johnson Steve Jackson Domanick Davis Carnell Williams Priest Holmes Duece Mc Allister WIDE RECEIVERS: Marvin Harrison Terrel Owens Chad Johnson Tory Holt Randy Moss Andre Johnson Lee Evans Javon Walker Reggie Wayne Nate Burleson Hinds Ward Joe Horn Anquan Boldin Michael Clayton Roy Williams TIGHT ENDS: Antonio Gates Tony Gonzalez Jeremy Shocky Jason Witten Alge Crumpler Todd Heap McMicheal Graham Dallas Clark Bubba Franks Jolly QUARTERBACK: Payton Manning Donovan McNabb Daunte Culpepper Drew Brees Kerry Collins Michael Vick Mark Bulger Brett Favre Carson Palmer Trent Green Matt Hasselbeck Aron Brooks Tom Brady Chad Pennington DEFENSE: Buffalo Bills New England Patriots Baltimore Ravens Atlanta Falcons Pittsburgh Philadelphia Carolina Seattle Washington Jacksonville NY Jets Tampa Bay Bucs

canadian bill
Defantly draft first two rb's. mcgahee is good but don't know if he is number one over all. I think alot of d will be focusing on him till JP proves himself. I would put LT number 1.

Miyagi-Do Karate
Hey Buckey, are your lists in order? If so, quite the shocker for both RB and WR lists! I'd put LT and Alexander abouve Willis and Julius Jones. And Harrison's run at being the #1 fantasy WR ended about 5 years ago. I like Moss at #1. And I love Evans on your list--but I think you could draft him in the 8th or 9th round, I'd imagine. Here's my tentative RB and WR lists: RB: 1) Alexander 2) LT 3) Priest 4) Corey Dillon 5) Kevin Jones WR: 1) Moss 2) Owens 3) Chad Johnson 4) Holt 5) Walker

Who do you all suggest the draft order should be for RB, QB, WR etc... in Fantasy football?I like the young guys in favor of the old reliables just because of injuries and their age. 403700 I felt the same way when my sim league had its' innaugural free agent draft earlier this year. I took Julius Jones w/ one of my 4th round picks, even though there were more established players available @ the time. Why? I really like his potential. He only had 3 100 yard games last year, but ran for over 150 yards in each of them and nearly for 200 in one of them. Now that he's healthy, he'll put up some nice numbers for Dallas. BTW, in our sim league, Jones led the league in rushing through the first 2 weeks.......then got injured and was lost to me for 6 weeks (only 2 more games left until I get him back). Now, if Buckey is in a keeper league, then I understand his rationale even more. If not, he's still going to get great young players that should be reliable for him. Priest could get hurt quickly, that's why I don't like him... I'd take Larry Johnson ahead of Priest. LT, Yes he's great but again... the injuries. Chilly
IMHO, Drew Brees is WAAAAAY to low on your list... 404064 Brees was 15th in passing yards, 9th in TDs, He had only 15 rushing yards and 2 rushing TDs. and vick is too high. 404260 You might not like Vick, but he still is up there in value. Vick isn't #5 in the league, and brees will have a lot better numbers next year now that he's settled in.

I don't think Brees will get better honestly. I think last year was the best we'll see out of him, at least with his current roster. I do think Vick will improve on his interception total, and I believe that the penalty to passing TDs (4 pts vs 6) in most standard scoring favors Vick. Kevbeau
I don't think Brees will get better honestly. I think last year was the best we'll see out of him, at least with his current roster. I agree..SD still hasn't addressed their poor WR corps and I would expect that D's will continue to roll an extra DB to Gates. I think Brees is a good guy to have on your bench. He'll be consistent and get you through a bye week or a short period injury to your starter, plus SD is a run first team. (Take it with a grain of salt, because he was my starter in one of R. Rich's leagues last year and did well for me.)
Billzfan23
IMHO, Drew Brees is WAAAAAY to low on your list... 404064 I think you have to have Cincinnati's defense in the top 5 this year, they were top 10 in interceptions, top 10 in fumble recoveries, and top 10 in TD's. I think if they give up a few less points (should be able to with Marvin Lewis established) then they will be the sleeper "D" of the year. I got them in round 11 in my league and feel like I stole them.
