cåblelady Posted August 9, 2005 Posted August 9, 2005 Sorry, it's the buzz talkin' 402470 Maybe you should have quit while you were ahead. Hope today is a better day.
Mike32282 Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 I was listening to WGR550 on the radio today on my way to camp and their main topic was about the Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame. They were asking people if the Bills should honor OJ Simpson in their Hall of Fame, or leave him out. And if they put him in, should they make a big deal about it and welcome him back to Buffalo for his induction? And if they put him in, should they mention his off the field problems too? Or not? What do you guys think?
Frez Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Why during training camp would WGR be talking about OJ Simpson? WGR topics let me down more and more every day. Can't they come up with something better? Maybe try talking about the up and coming season of the Bills and the entire NFL? WGR is LAME these days!
cåblelady Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Set his bust in an electric chair. 403341 Fried boobies?
erynthered Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Set his bust in an electric chair. 403341 In his case, this should be repealed: double jeopardy n. The act of putting a person through a second trial for an offense for which he or she has already been prosecuted or convicted.
Corp000085 Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 yeah, put him in, but don't advertise it... he was the best RB in bills history. he broke 2000 yards in a 14 game schedule on a crappy team. he's in the pro football hall of fame. he, and it hurts for me to say it, was aquitted by the criminal justice system for something that happened after his career with the bills. No, the bills should not make a big deal about him because of his post-career character flaws (how's that for spin), but yes, it would be criminal for the bills to not include him in their history.

C.Biscuit97 Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Don't wanna get into the whole situation, but wasn't he found not guilty by his peers in a court of law??? So, he should be considered innocent and allow to his life as a normal human being. I'm not the man upstairs and I wasn't there when those two were murdered. So I can't properly say if he is guilty or not. There is a ton of evidence obviously pointing at him, but who know for sure??? It's a dangerous thing to play God. Let him in the HOF. And if he did do it, he is the POS to be able to look at his kids for that. On earth, the court is our judge. People will get what they deserve in the end.

The evidence against him was overwhelming and the 12 idiots who sat on that jury should be ashamed of themselves for being so easily hoodwinked.
Rico Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Being the greatest player in Bills' history, of course you place OJ in the HOF, AND you invite him. Whether he shows up or not is another story, I doubt that he would.

No matter how I personally feel about the decision, I accept that he was deemed innocent of the crime. I will allow him to continue to live his life (and steal cable ). Maybe this is very naive or idealist of me, but I just can't believe he could just walk around and be able to live a normal life if he really did this. But like I said, I think everyone will get what they deserved in the end. And while I won't call them idiots, those jurors are the people who ultimately have to live with their decisions for the rest of their lives.
Nanker Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Let's take up a collection for him to help him find the real killer(s). I'm sure that's an expensive pursuit. And you thought Bin Laden was hard to find! Poor OJ's been at it for years and hasn't gotten any closer to answering this terrible riddle.

Jim Braxton just missed having a 1000 yard season. The Bills of last year could have won the Super Bowl with that offense.
BillnutinHouston Posted August 10, 2005 Posted August 10, 2005 Of course he goes in the Bills HOF. The Bills are not like a communist state where history is rewritten to edit out inconvenient facts and events.
