Next thing I'll be reading is the Bills D sucked too.

Needs A LOT of work. Holcomb would be better to start with, but they are going to have to take their lumps if they want a special QB. Losman may not be that guy, but Holcomb is just a caretaker.

Okay and needs work are the same thing in my book. Its okay to need work when you are starting at QB in the NFL for the first time and its the first scrimmage of the pre-season.

Does he need work? Yepper. In fact, does he need a lot of work? Yepper. Does he need more work than a 10 year vet (aka Bledsoe)? Yepper.

Is his game so incomplete and unfinished that he needs more work than I would expect a 1st round pick to need? No not at all.

JP shows every sign of being a high quality pick. It just doesn't represent any football sense to expect him to only need the 1 solid series of work against an opponent that is reasonable for a vet QB starter.

Run D is really suspect...after all, everyone's reporting how McGahee is running all over them in camp... :D

IMO JP didn't look like he needed an alarm clock. :D

Good. He certainly needs work, but given the fact that it was his first real test against another team in a year, he exceeded my expectations.
