Rico
In the morning workout, Bills No. 4 guard Lawrence Smith injured his right knee in 1-on-1 drills and was carted from the field.Thank God Pucillo signed with the Browns.
Terry Tate
"The Packers lost backup running back Najeh Davenport to a right ankle injury, the extent of which wasn't immediately known." When Terrence McGee absolutely PLANTED him. Sorry he was injured, but seeing the perfect execution of a tackle by a player on someone who's bigger than he is is pretty sweet. Which reminds me, I hope #42/Leonard (sp?) makes it somewhere if not on the Bills; from what I saw late in the scrimmage, that kid's a player. ndmanley
Losman said he was pleased with his performance but was mostly jazzed about playing on the same field as his boyhood idol. "My favorite ever, I mean, Brett Favre, you have to have the jitters," Losman said. "Just watching him, you're in awe and you're on Lambeau Field." The two Southerners chatted briefly afterward. Sometimes reporters make mistakes but since when is it OK to just make stuff up? I guess playing at Tulane makes him a Southerner.
