Wacka Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 I saw the shuttle re-enter over the SF area at 3 AM about 10 years ago. Looks like a red roman candle and took about 2 minutes to go from horizion to horizion. About 3-4 minutes later I heard the sonic booms. Went inside to watch NASA TV- they were over Louisiana! Landed less than 5 minutes later. Looking at it, it is amazing that there were people inside it.
CajunBillsBacker Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 Thanks for the heads up, i'll have to look for it.
/dev/null Posted August 6, 2005 Posted August 6, 2005 heads up literally wouldn't want to get hit by a falling piece of the shuttle
