CBusBillsFan
Poll Well, the first coaches poll came out and there are some questions. Oklahoma number 5? They graduated so many people, they don't have a QB with any snaps and they are 5? Yes, I am a homer but I think OSU is way to low. They have dominating lines, both O and D. The best LBs in the country and Ted Ginn and two QBs that have experience. Should they be 1 or 2? No, but they shouldn't be that low. Also, look at some of the teams getting votes, Kansas and Duke? Who the hell are these guys?
Chilly
Remember: Ohio State was 8-4 to finish the season last year. They haven't proven anything on the field yet, and they were ranked 19th. I think the coaches poll is very solid, and right about where it should be. I'd only have one complaint: that Florida is a few spots too high. UConn James
Duke got a vote?!? They were 2-9 last year!! We beat them by a field goal in what should have been a blowout. Proof positive that polls mean jack schitt. Not much love for the Big East.... Louisville at 14, Pitt at 25.

Besides, this will make the Texas game even bigger!!!!! Besides, aren't you impressed that I didn't complain about Michigan?
R. Rich
No love for Penn State either. Oh well. I'm hoping PSU shuts up a whole lot of teams this year.
CajunBillsBacker
#6, i'll take it. With 5 top 25 teams on the schedule, we need to take care of our own business.
Ramius
I'm fine with my "noles at #12, but florida ahead of us at 11...what a crock... Actually the biggest BS is that utah, undefeated last year, winners of a BCS bowl game, doesnt get ranked...
CBusBillsFan
Actually the biggest BS is that utah, undefeated last year, winners of a BCS bowl game, doesnt get ranked... It will be interesting to see how they do w/o Meyer and Smith. I think they should be in the top 25 as well, some teams have just as many if not more question marks than the Utes, yet in the top 25. CBusBillsFan
I'm fine with my "noles at #12 Speaking of your 'Noles, how do you feel about the postseason ban. I think it is complete bull s***, esp. FSU who has a resolution from the Seminole tribe of Fla. saying that they support it.

What will happen is the NCAA will act as if they are taking a stand against using native symbols as if they wer enothing, while hte whole time knowing that Florida State would get their way. Chilly
By the way, I figured out how Duke got the vote. Apparently, Steve Spurrier votes for Duke every year in the preseason poll as a way of thanking them for giving him his start.
