Clockwork Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 I have been thinking this in light of the Corey Simon rumor. I figure that it would make the most sense from a football standpoint to re-sign Nate to a long deal. However, I know from a Cap standpoint, that might be hard to do. I would like to know when Schobel got his deal done last year, and hope that Nate gets one around the same time this year.
Thailog80 Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 Training camp last season. 399410[/snapback] Let's hope Nate's gets done this camp.

Clockwork Posted August 5, 2005 Author Posted August 5, 2005 Thanks guys. What would be a reasonable year/money amount? I am not all that familiar with contracts.
kota Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 Nate Clements is going to want a crap load of cash. I think he is worth it to a point. If we can't sign him to a cap friendly sum that will allow us to resign other players then he should be let go.
smokinandjokin Posted August 5, 2005 Posted August 5, 2005 Wait, how do YOU know he got an extension? What's that? Oooohhhh, a CONTRACT extension. I get it now.
