Did anyone else find that story about Deon Sanders claiming he tested positive for steroids upon his comeback, a little odd? He says he tested positive, so the NFL tested him every week. The Ravens claim that it isn't true, and that he was being tested every week, because he tested positive for a banned substance (other than steroids) during his final days with the Redskins a few years back.

Could the NFL (via the Ravens) be trying to cover their asses here? Why would Sanders say something like that, out of the blue, if it wasn't true? This would be the kind of attention the NFL does not want right now, particularly from a big name player.

I think I made my point...eloquent!
