UConn James Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 90 West. It's a really nice drive once you get past Springfield. Especially on a clear summer day.

I always like the view in the Berkshires and when I went thru in June, the roads were in pretty good shape. The rush and traffic of the cities is over, you put some driving jazz or classic rock on and coast. Tolls are usually about $12-$15, total. Just watch out for the vending machine sodas on the pike --- a 20-oz. bottle that usually costs .75 was $2. Highway robbery.
kasper13 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 There isn't a cheap way to fly from Boston to Buffalo or Buffalo to Boston. It will cost you at least $229, if not more. Drive it. It'll take 7 hours tops and cost about $12-$15 in tolls. I went to Boston a couple weeks ago (from Buffalo) and drove instead of flying because of the cost. Cheapest airfare that I found was: US Airways- $295 Roundtrip, Non-stop, Coach, Economy Priceline- Non-Stop $354 One Stop (3 hours in Newark anyone?) $256 Two Stops $229 JetBlue needs to go Buffalo to Boston. Roundtrip Buffalo to NY City is less than $100
JohnnyFairPlay001 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Tie a potato to a string and drag it from Baahhstin to Buf
BILLS02138 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 JetBlue does not service JFK/BUF from Boston. Independence Air is your best bet if you don't want to drive. I just booked a flight yesterday for $79 each way, plus tax. Unfortunately, it's via Baltimore. That drive sux after a while... flyi.com also try orbitz.com

Johnny Coli Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Eh, the view's okay, but you're still in Massachusetts. 398492 If you got rid of all the Pats, Sox, Bruins and Celts "fans" Mass wouldn't be so bad.
boomerjamhead Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Hide in the wheel well of the aircraft and hope you don't end up like one of those corpses they find every now and again. Or just friggin go to Orbitz and book way in advance. I booked San Jose to Tampa for $275 on American.
PromoTheRobot Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 US Air flies to Manchester NH, just 1 hour from Boston, for about half of the Buffalo-Boston airfare. At $138 round-trip now. Flight is one-stop, usually through Philly or LaGuardia. PTR
BRH Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 If you got rid of all the Pats, Sox, Bruins and Celts "fans" Mass wouldn't be so bad. 398501 It'd be empty, for one thing.
PromoTheRobot Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 It'd be empty, for one thing. 398567 And that wouldn't be better? PTR
Ramius Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 And that wouldn't be better? PTR 398579 Well, the nation would certainly smell a lot better and be much quieter as a result...
Mantis Toboggan M.D Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 Yeah whats up with Jet Blue not flying from Buffalo to Boston. Jet Blue flies almost no where from Boston.
