Ramius Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 looks as if it just ran off the runway, as opposed to falling out of the sky...i hope everyone is alright, they said its in flames...
Arkady Renko Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 It's been an hour and there doesn't appear to be reports of people actually leaving the plane. I hope that there is just a delay here.

Arkady Renko Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Well, if you have access to a TV, please give us an update.
spidey Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 well was burning badly when I first posted and now its smoking alot since firetrucks have been pouring water etc on it. Currently not sure it was just a run off runway may have been windshear
UConn James Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 There are reports of a few people jumping out of the exits.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Somehow, in some way, someone right now is trying to blame this on George Bush. Which, of course, we all know is a fallacy. It's TD's fault, that bastard...
Arkady Renko Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 I think the best we can hope for are a lot of survivors-I fear that at least half have died.
spidey Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 major explosion/fireball after firetrucks were pouring on water etc about 6 mins ago. Not looking good right now.

Seeing as how many Buffalonians fly out of Toronto on a regular basis, you may want to hold off on the comedy routine for now.

Mea maxima culpa.
spidey Posted August 2, 2005 Author Posted August 2, 2005 many cars pulled along sides of HWY 401 watching the scene. Eyewitness account says plane landed and ran off runway and cracked in half. Fireball erupted shortly after the plane cracked in half.
