BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 According to BB.com... J.P. Losman ran for an “82-yard touchdown” (see Coach Mularkey’s post-practice audio) at Monday afternoon’s practice at St. John Fisher Hopefully someone there can hook us up with the details.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 1, 2005 Author Posted August 1, 2005 He's still no Steve Bono. 395657 Or Don Majkowski
Billsgirl Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 It was on the news... I don't know if they showed a clip of it or not, but I heard about it. by the time I made it to the tv it was on to another story tho.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted August 1, 2005 Author Posted August 1, 2005 According to Mularkey...it was against the backup Defense. So its not like he blew past Lawyer Milloy and Troy Vincent.

Because I want to see our quarterback running all the way down the field for scores.
JimBob2232 Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 I think Losman would be a good last round fantasy QB. The guy can scramble, the guy can get yards ala micheal vick, and he has weapons downfield. I seriously think he will be a top 10 fantasy QB. HOWEVER....I will be scared to death watching him play, because like Micheal Vick...someday he will be clobbered. Oh, and "Oh, good. Because I want to see our quarterback running all the way down the field for scores. " I do...I just dont want to see him get hurt doing it!
Alaska Darin Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Oh, good. Because I want to see our quarterback running all the way down the field for scores. 395664 It's certainly better than watching our QB turn the ball over to the defense for scores (not that I have visions of the NE and Pittsburgh games flying around in my head or anything).

According to the audio, there was a seam down the right side of the field during a passing play and Losman just took off...so I dont think it was a planned Mularkey-wacky play.
John from Riverside Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Just run the damn thing out of bounds.....
Alaska Darin Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 Just run the damn thing out of bounds..... 395672 He did. The back of the end zone is out of bounds.

If he's able to make a split second decision rather than freaking out or bailing or something? Or maybe I'm just that last ray of sunshine in a crowd of angry pessimists
Albany,n.y. Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 The only problem is that with the red jersey, nobody is supposed to touch him. So if he takes off, shouldn't every run result in a TD?
Nervous Guy Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 The only problem is that with the red jersey, nobody is supposed to touch him. So if he takes off, shouldn't every run result in a TD? 395675 party pooper!

jarthur31 Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 If he's running for touchdowns and not our WR or RB, then we're screwed.
Crap Throwing Monkey Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 It's certainly better than watching our QB turn the ball over to the defense for scores (not that I have visions of the NE and Pittsburgh games flying around in my head or anything). 395668 Either way, a QB who can't QB ain't a QB.
