Blue Chipper Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Its time for Josh Reid to clean out his locker at the stadium. With the signing of Parrish, who should nicely slide into the three spot, Josh Reid is done in Buffalo. I know it will be tough to replace his 4 touchdowns over the past three seasons but I think Parrish can do it.

Blue Chipper Posted July 29, 2005 Author Posted July 29, 2005 Is he worth a 3rd rounder? 393501 maybe TD should call the Jags.
Thailog80 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Let's hope Reed gets the message and lives up to his potential.
Frez Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I bet Reed plays his ass off this training camp. any takers?
Thailog80 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I bet Reed plays his ass off this training camp.any takers? 393517 I bet he does also. Our WR corp could, I said COULD, be unreal this season.

Thailog80 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 When did we "sign" Parrish???? 393520 According to WGR he's agreed to "terms"

That is a cheap insurance policy in case someone goes down durring the season. That being said, he practices great but his play when it counts has been below sub-par. I think in the end they will give him this year to prove himself.
HurlyBurly51 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I bet Reed plays his ass off this training camp.any takers? 393517 That's Reed's problem - plays well when it doesn't count.
Phlegm Alley Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I think Reed remains on the team--he adds quality depth and he has already shown he is capable of producing at the reciever pos.
Alaska Darin Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 That's Reed's problem - plays well when it doesn't count. 393525 Actually his problem, along with the rest of the receivers, is lack of consistancy from the quarterback position. Reed suffers from being too hard on himself and lack of chances. The fact that Drew couldn't read a defense or throw an accurate catchable ball under 15 yards is death to a player like Josh Reed.
Buffan00 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 According to WGR he's agreed to "terms" 393522 Good, he needs to be there for a whole camp!

Just to bash Drew a little more, the faker put zero effort into improving that particular weakness. And furthermore: QB Drew will be poison to Dallas' supposed strength, the TE position. More power to them if they can make though the season without sustaining serious injury.
Tux of Borg Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Scratch the Josh Reed end-around play from the play book.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Scratch the Josh Reed end-around play from the play book. 393638 And that'sa bad thing? I hate that play.
AJ1 Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 And that'sa bad thing? I hate that play. 393641 Yes!! Opening game last season, second offensive play.. -7 yards...end of drive 1.
John from Riverside Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Its a good play if everything else is working......
kota Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Reed and Parrish are probably going to be splitting time in the slot. Roscoe can't block a LB or DB in this league.
Tux of Borg Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Its a good play if everything else is working...... 393648 The offensive line can't even give the QB 4 seconds to throw the ball. You think they can block long enough to pull that play off.
