LabattBlue Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Vikings | Tice Plays Good Samaritan Fri, 29 Jul 2005 05:53:57 -0700 Don Seeholzer, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice spent part of his last day before training camp visiting a 10-year-old Minneapolis boy who was hit in the side by a stray bullet Sunday, July 24, while playing football in his back yard. He presented the boy with a signed football, a QB Daunte Culpepper picture and a flag football kit. He also extended an invitation to the boy to attend a Vikings practice after he is released from the hospital. Then when the boy wasn't looking, Tice swiped his prized rare football card collection and is trying to scalp it on ebay.
