Dawgg Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 There's a lot of talk already about how Moulds is on the decline and this is his last year as a Bill. While the former may be true, I certainly hope the latter is not because he has proven year after year to be a team-first guy, unlike many other star receivers out there. Snippet from an article on BB.com: One player that has helped Losman develop this offseason would be veteran receiver Eric Moulds. Moulds, who like Losman spent a great amount of time at the team's facilities this offseason, has helped J.P. learn both on and off the field. "It's been amazing to watch those guys work," Mularkey said. "Eric's been very impressive. And it's evident watching him. Assistant coaches or even coordinators can't always see it, but I constantly watch guys' body language, their actions on the field. I'm always evaluating not just the play, but are they paying attention on the sideline? Are they first in line?' Just the little things. You can see that Eric has probably helped J.P. progress just by his support."
Alaska Darin Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I'll believe Moulds has slipped when there's a competent QB with the ability to execute a presnap read distributing the rock.
John from Riverside Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I gotta say.....I dont know if it is economically feasible but I woud REALLY like to see Eric retire a bill.....
Reuben Gant Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I'll believe Moulds has slipped when there's a competent QB with the ability to execute a presnap read distributing the rock. 392774 I think Moulds will be the best Bill in the offense. The nice thing this year will be he won't have to be the best Bill in the offense on every play.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 I hope it's true that he was still recovering from injuries suffered in 2003. If so, he'll be really good this year.
Estro Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Moulds has always been my favorite Buffalo Bill. When he snags a reception or pulls in a TD, I'm alway a lil more pumped than the fans sitting around me. I just like watching the guy play football.
eball Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 it has been a pleasure watching moulds develop as a player and a person while in buffalo. the guy has become a consummate professional. i REALLY hope he has a few strong years left as a bill. he deserves to be here when we get back to the big dance.
rastabillz Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I actually saw Eric and JP together a couple of weeks ago on Erics boat at Buffalo Small Boat harbor. THe boats name is Catch 80 and has big Bills helmet logo on the back. JP was sitting on the back of the boat as we drove by in my brother in laws boat.

Ramius Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Moulds is and has been a great WR for a whileBut as some have said, hes had no consistency in the QB position...but he does have the ability to beat double coverage, and he doesnt drops many balls at all like some peole like to say...Go Moulds and i hope you retire as a bill...
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 he doesnt drops many balls at all like some peole like to say...Go Moulds and i hope you retire as a bill... 392861 Of course he doesn't. I couldn't find stats for passes droped, but I found this on footballoutsiders.com # of passes thrown their way/yards/td's/% of catches 81-T.Owens- 127 1202 14 61% 87-J.Horn- 153 1399 11 61% 87-M.Muhammad- 160 1407 16 58% 85-C.Johnson- 169 1274 10 56% 80-E.Moulds- 152 1048 5 58% 84-R.Moss- 86 769 13 57% seems Moulds percentage of passes he catches compares favorably with some of the best in the league. Moulds is my favorite Buffalo Bill and I'd like nothing better than for him to retire a Bill.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 This site tells you passes dropped. Go crazy: http://snap.stats.com/stats/nflinfo/index.asp And Eric had 7 drops out of 152 "targets."
IDBillzFan Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I really like to see this because I remember it paid big dividends when Eric came to California during the offseason and worked on patterns with RJ.
EndZoneCrew Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Did Eric have his 11 kids with him also? 392858

drunkenirishmann Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Moulds is probably one of the only few players I wouldn't mind if TD overpaid as long as he retired as a Bill.
eball Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 I really like to see this because I remember it paid big dividends when Eric came to California during the offseason and worked on patterns with RJ. 392889 unfortunately, the patterns moulds and RJ worked on had more to do with getting through the "apple" stage of pac-man.

Hope he has a monster year. I have a feeling he just might.
