Hollywood Donahoe
He was always a really good run stuffer. His contributions will be missed.
MadBuffaloDisease
I wouldn't be surprised if it were a salary cap move and he's back soon.

UConn James
I seem to remember a couple of years back that he was upset and was talking about retirement when Belichick was going to reduce his role.... Looking at his stats, tho, it looks like he turned in a solid performance to win his job back. Always respected him. He was a Phil Hansen-type player. Patsies will miss him and Bruschi. He was a very good player, and I am happy to see him go out the right way. Very smart move on his part.
Thurman's Helmet
I wouldn't be surprised if it were a salary cap move and he's back soon. 392376[/snapback] Johnson said it was the result of too many concussions over his 10 year career. Belichick called the move "unexpected" Pats are fine in terms of the cap. He was a good player and a great person and will be missed.
Reuben Gant
Just saw that Ted Johnson announced his retirement. With Bruschi taking the year off, and Romeo out of town now, how does this bode for the hated Pats. BTW, reason cited, too many knocks to the noggin.
