Beerball Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 This from KFFL: Dolphins L. Turner RetiresMon, 25 Jul 2005 23:32:16 -0700 Carl Kotala, of Florida Today, reports Miami Dolphins rookie free agent LB Lionel Turner has retired. He played for Dolphins' head coach Nick Saban at LSU last season. A rookie FA "retires" on the first official day of practice. Isn't that called quitting?
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 Man that guy had a tremendous career...... Start making that Bust Lionel Turner for Canton 2010!!!
ch19079 Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 from now on, any time a dolphin player retires befor the age of 35, is funny as hell.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 I'm sure he took one look at the Dolphins this year, threw his hands up and said "Thats it man...I'm out"

smokinandjokin Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 You guys are pretty shallow. There's so much more to life than football, like studying yoga and holistic healing, and living in a tent in India. Perhaps this guy spent one day with Ricky and was "enlightened." This just in: the Wayne Huizenga is going to court to get this guy's signing bonus back: A $4.99 Whopper value meal from Burger King.

Clockwork Posted July 26, 2005 Posted July 26, 2005 This is like Anthony Munoz's kid. He "retired" after he wasn't drafted.
