taterhill Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 What have the Sabres done so far? Nothing except alienate their core group of fans. Check out the economy in Buffalo & WNY and tell me how many people can afford tickets to a good game? Not very many. 389568[/snapback] you can get a season ticket to the Sabres for $10 per game in section 300...that is a pretty good deal IMO...they have also introduced a season ticket buddy play for those people that want to split seasons, but do not have someone to do it with...I think the Sabres have done a TON to bring people back to the NHL...
pkwwjd Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Sabres have always been a decent value. Live in Pittsburgh ... go to the igloo and pay $30 for horrid seats, and you only get that price if you order 100 tickets at a time (10 seats for 10 games, 4 seats for 25 games) I don't think there is a seat in HSBC that is worse than some of the good seats in Mellon Arena
SDS Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I'm not sure what the scalper market was for those games, but it makes sense for the Sabres to bring that money in themselves than to have the scalpers rake it in. BTW, with the renewed interest in hockey - I hope everyone who is interested signs up at The Sabres Report message board (linked on top). It would be nice to generate a sustained discussion over there now that the NHL is back up and running...
