Realist
Why, don't they have Big Ben? 388405 This is completely different than football. And I really wouldn't count Ben as someone that will help save a franchise.
Ramius
i say send him to anaheim...we'd see him a lot less then, and presonally i'd rather not play him a bunch of times, then potentially in the playoffs...

Corp000085
Here's hoping it is ANA. 388406 yeah me too... if this guy isn't a bust, it would be great to get him out of the eastern conference. commercial break. i'll update the order when they pick. TSN sure is putting on a great show here! (i'd pay directv for that channel.) nevermind. its pittsburgh At least we know it wasn't fixed to a large market team. If you're an nhl conspiracy theorist like me, now we can bi+ch about the rigging to get crosby paired with mario lepieux.

Sabre's really boned at 13...not much immediate help gonna come with this pick. Oh Well....

Spun
At least the pick goes to a small market. Bring on Vanek and Roy and hopefully a quality free agent. But #13 sucks.
Golden Wheels
The Sabres and Panthers were screwed by the drawing...what is the point of watching your team suck and not make the playoffs....and then end up with a mediocre or low draft position. @#%$

That's why I was wondering about Free Agency, hopefully Buffalo gets some good players there. At least someone to bring the fans back.

This will help the team greatly. Like the bills, the sabres are not far off at all. I'm also a realist with this crosby kid... So far, its all marketing. We'll all see how he does in the coming months.
