Aikman/Smith/Irvin 3. Bradshaw/Harris/Swann 4. Kelly/Thomas/Reed Eric picked Montana/Craig/Rice and Trey Wingo (being a Dallas homer) picked the cowboys....Eric mentioned that the bills combo had the stats but the steelers had the rings....

How many AFC Championship rings do Montana and Aikman have? About four less than Jimbo!!!

All HOF'ers
smokinandjokin Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Unitas/Berry/Moore didn't make it? 388302 Any relation to Drew Berrymore?
Reuben Gant Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Any relation to Drew Berrymore? 388308 I think so, John /Berry/more Drew/Berry/More were all good but not as good as cousin: Unitas/Berry/Moore
ndmanley Posted July 22, 2005 Posted July 22, 2005 Unitas/Berry/Moore didn't make it? All HOF'ers 388302 The discussion was in the Superbowl Era. Weren't most of those guys either retired or on the decline during Superbowl III and V?
Lori Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 The discussion was in the Superbowl Era. Weren't most of those guys either retired or on the decline during Superbowl III and V? 388443 Correct you are. Both Berry (HOF '73) and Moore (HOF '75) retired after the 1967 season, so neither ever played in a Super Bowl. Sportscenter followed up with a Top 10 including baseball/hoops/hockey trios. (Gretz/Messier/Fuhr, Glavine/Maddux/Smoltz, Magic/Kareem/Worthy, etc.) Kelly/TT/Reed ranked #10 on their list; Bradshaw/Harris/Swann #1.

Hey, 'Boomer'...don't you have a say in these matters?

Steven in MD Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 Soon to be added to the list in a few years Losman/Evans/McGahee 387998 With free agency and lack of loyalty, I doubt you will see many great threesomes in pro football. Look at the Pats over their 3 SB run, the only constant has been Brady. Different RBs and WRs.
hoser12 Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 if you want stats Manning, Harrison, James but not even an afc title -- ranking in the top 4 is pretty good for a team that was so close to the super bowl
EndZoneCrew Posted July 24, 2005 Posted July 24, 2005 I doubt you will see many great threesomes 388988 I disagree, the Hot Network just did a 2 hour block on this very subject (2004 edition) so I think you are way off

Puhonix Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 They had some Dolphins in the original vote too. I believe it was Griese/Csonka/Warfield.
