OBXBILLSFAN Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 I live about 200 yards from the ocean, but I never go in the water. I use my pool instead. That picture summarizes why.
Astrobot Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 1000 miles? You're still not safe. These sharks can walk 1002 miles. You'll have to move.
ch19079 Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 if sharks wanted to eat people, there would be NOONE in the water. but a small tasting by a shark can kill you. i still hate those who say, save the dolphins. why? i bet they taste good.

They dont come too close to shore usually, but rather stay out about 12-20 miles off where the water is about 10 degrees cooler. If you think that the NE coast doesnt have sharks, you are sadly mistaken!

respk Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 You have a better chance of dying from a falling coconut than a shark attack.
