stuckincincy Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Following the 'Skin's since-dropped charging for viewing training camp, the Vikes step into it and must allow scouts from other teams to attend their camp. http://www.startribune.com/stories/510/5513429.html
nick in* england Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 The Vikes are really a shabby organisation IMO. How can you make this sort of blunder? It's not season defining - but keep you house in order - play by the rules and you'll be better off for it. They now face the chances that they will be scouted by 31 teams for their ENTIRE camp. I know you still have to go out and beat them on gameday - but this could give a significant edge to opposition. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
Fezmid Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 The same thing happened a few years back when Dan Snyder charged for the Redskins training camp. It's not like the Vikes didn't know this would happen. CW

Fezmid Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 So why shoot themselves in the foot? 385972 I have no answer to that... Aside from the fact that they're money hungry? CW
IDBillzFan Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 So why shoot themselves in the foot? 385972 They're not shooting themselves in the foot. They're stuffing themselves in the wallet.
