WHOA!!!!

 

Sterling Sharpe was THE BEST reciever in the NFL until he was injured. Ok, maybe he was 2nd to Jerry Rice but he was atleast as good as Andre.

 

In my opinion, better, and I'm a HUGE Andre Fan.

Andre isn't even getting any love from his own home state. Just eight percent out of Pennsylvania.

 

That point about all the other candidates having TV gigs says it all.

Any one think Andre will make the Hall of Fame? I believe he shoud be a certain lock, but I have a lot of doubts on whether the rest of universe understands how important he was to the Super Bowl runs.

On the one hand, the fact that Marv and Jim are in, and Bruce and Thurman are expected to go in, may bode well for Andre. I don't think he would get in on his stats alone, as impressive as they are.

 

The thing that worries me is that he was fairly low profile during those years. As great as he was, he really didn't get the noteriety that the other guys did.

 

I thing he belongs in, but am sickened by the thought that he may not get in.
