Stussy109 Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 There are 3 casinos, 2 canadian, 1 US... ALl three have poker rooms. The seneca niagara (US) has the best room, biggest, with the most action.

I learned the differenences on my recent visit. Seneca Niagara ( American Side ) Casino Niagara ( original on Canadian side across from American Falls) Fallsview Casino ( new on canadian side closest to horseshoe falls) Fallsview is sort of like a vegas style with the hotel, shops, restauraunt and casino. Seneca will be similar but Hotel isnt finished as of May. We actually liked the Seneca best, seemed like one armed bandits were looser than in Fallsview. If you are planning on going to canadian side casinos from Buffalo I still think best bet is going over Peace Bridge, customs seems always easier than on rainbow bridge.
R. Rich Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 There's no place for sports in a casino......except boxing, that is.
#41 Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 The hotel @ Seneca Niagara will hopefully be completed by mid December. If not fully completed, maybe opened up to a certain floor, like 17 or so. 26-27 floors total. A friend of mine is a project manger up there and took me on a tour, including a trip to the roof. Also saw a mock-up of how the rooms are going to look, looks pretty sweet. Also, the slots are a smidgen looser from what i was told, like a point higher or so. I've also been told they don't do the exchange BACK into U.S. @ Fallsview. When it's all said and done, Senenca Niagara will be on par with Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun. With a few more towers springing up behind the hotel they are working on currently. Don't even want to get started on the Erie County/Buffalo one Also, go hungry, the buffet is awesome. The steakhouse is pretty frickin' alright too.
taterhill Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 here is the difference...free drinks at Seneca Niagara....Ontario law prohibits free drinks...easy decision to me
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 here is the difference...free drinks at Seneca Niagara....Ontario law prohibits free drinks...easy decision to me 385268[/snapback] I never once got offered a drink in three hours of roulette play at Seneca Niagara.
Like A Mofo Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Just to clarify (I plan on going to a casino there on 9/10 the day before the Bills game), the poker rooms include Texas Hold Em or Stud, etc?
todd Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 More importantly, the Sundowner is in Canada. That place is quite fun.
#41 Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 http://www.senecaniagaracasino.com/snc/pokerRoom.html should provide some info.
gmac17 Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 More importantly, the Sundowner is in Canada. That place is quite fun. or next door at seductions, where the ladies are a bit more "entrepreneurial".... (not my line, actually read it in the Buff News recently...)
