IDBillzFan Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 Sorry we had to kick your ass, you're a good sport. Happy July 4th everyone 374309 Yeah, yeah, Happy 4th. To those who served, and those who still serve today, we owe our lives to you. Freedom is the only cure for what ails the world.
Puhonix Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 I guess this is the place for my LAMP, rant... Last night before the fireworks, Andy Griggs, who had just done a great concert, sang the national anthem. Well, everyone stood up, but some idiots kept yelling out and even worse, hardly anyone took off their hats. That really drove me wild... but boom and light displayed quickly distracted me, and all is better. Is it required to remove your hat when the anthem is playing?
/dev/null Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 the only thing that sucks about July 4th is having to go back to work on July 5th

Unless you are a Marine, and then you do not put your hand over your heart, but stand at attention. Unless in uniform, then you salute.

Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Thanks... that's what I thought, I did of course, but these schmucks all around me just sat there.... 374896 That's a pet peeve, along with people that sing or cheer during the national anthem. My countrymen are historically, politically and sociologically challenged.
