The_Real Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 First of all, like I said, the "miss the playoffs" was in response to "patswhipup," not you, genius. Second of all, while the teams I mentioned didn't always beat the Pats, they played them close WITH the coordinators, Bruschi, and the depth players that have since left the team. IOW, it won't get easier for the Pats this year. 374068 I don't think they are a lock for the super bowl, but you really think they won't even make the playoffs? Am I the only one who thinks that sounds nuts? Do you think the wheels are just going to fall off? I'm not trying to be a turd, I'm serious, I think that sounds crazy T_R

I said that it was the same brilliant analysis/thinking that "patswhipup" gave in HIS/HER post.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Did everyone see that Pat's work us last year? I saw the Bills have a real good chance of almost beating the Pats last year in Buffalo. If not for 2 missed fumbles by the refs on TD drives, and Travis not slipping on a critical 3rd and short, they win that game. In NE, it's a different story.

I forget also. : ) It was almost funny. http://www.billsdaily.com/gameday/2004/ne/reviewgm1.shtml "The Bills were in this game with three minutes to go facing a 4th and 3 at the Patriots 17 and decided to go for it with the Patriots leading 24-17. This came after Travis Henry fell down again on 3rd and 1 with a huge hole in front of him. That was one of a tremendous amount of miscues and mistakes in this game but the biggest one in the game was about to come. Drew Bledsoe was sacked by johnny on the spot Tedy Bruschi and Richard Seymour returned it 68 yards for the game clinching score."
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 You forgot Bleadsloe getting nailed, again, recovered fumble beingreturned for a TD. I forget also. : ) It was almost funny Nope, didn't forget it. It happened right AFTER the play where Travis slipped on 3rd and 1. The point being, Travis doesn't slip, they make the 1st down and that sack/fumble likely doesn't occur.
San-O Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Was listening to the inside the huddle show on espn radio yesterdayevening...When they got to the AFC East, Sean Salibury thought the bills had the best shot at the wildcard and in finishing ahead of the Jets...He said the teams defense played smash mouth and he expects JP Losman to run around and move the sticks...giving a different dimension thant what we had with Bledsoe. 374032 When was the last time Salisbury was wright.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 When was the last time Salisbury was wright. It's got to have been sooner than the last time Clayton was.
San-O Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 It's got to have been sooner than the last time Clayton was. 374092 LOL. Yeah, but who do you think is gonna be right about this one. A rookie QB playing well and getting his team to the playoffs, or a nobody (Gandy) lining up at LT and getting rookie killed? You can't run the ball every down.

True, but it's not like JP will be a sitting duck on most passing plays.

EndZoneCrew Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Fug that nerd Clayton....the only thing he is good for as we know is his night time ritual of rubbing one out to Tom Brady warm up videos!!!!
Hollywood Donahoe Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 The Pats aren't making the playoff this year. How's that for where I see things? Help me remember, is this your 8,002nd or 8,003rd Patriots-related doomsday prediction? Start posting quatrains, Nostradamus. In the northeastern-most part of a powerful nation, The one in the hooded sweatshirt will fall. So too will the the passer of the oblong, He who will be revealed as a system QB.

Frez Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 It's all about the offensive line Mr. Donahoe. Let's see how far you have came with it this year. I hope you finally get it right. Gandy scares the hell out of me. He's now our starting Left tackle?
/dev/null Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 I wonder if Clayton's mad at TD because TD makes him swallow... 374183 Clayton couldn't handle the truth when TD told him Picard > Kirk anyways, why the sudden lovefest for Salisbury? I remember times he'd say something negative about the Bills (Bledsoe especially) and folks here would rip into him. forgive and forget or selective short term memory? DING! gotta go!
