Bucs cut WR Marquez Callaway

He hasn't down much the last three seasons but his 2021 season looks nice when he got 11 starts and put up 698 yards and was a teammate of Josh Palmer at UT.  Draft writeup also indicates he could be a punt returner/occasional speed threat. To me he's worth a shot if we can't get Elijah Moore.

Last season, he played a total of 4 snaps, which only 4 more than I did. If his best season was 4 years ago, thats a lifetime in the NFL

It’s so funny to watch people defend the WR room and then suggest scrubs like this. I’m not talking about anyone in particular but I promise that the Ravens, for example, aren’t kicking around the idea of this scrub.

Probably not as fast as Shenault and brings similar “accomplishment” at WR.  Pass, adds nothing.

Why do I feel WR's with the name Marquez or Marquise or some version of this are always looked at as intriguing prospects but they never seem to pan out the right way?

So, my final thought is that if you run into a WR with some variation of the name Marquez....
