Brandon Beane on WGR

He's on now and I have never seen/heard Brandon Beane so salty on an interview.  He is prickly about the WR/draft conversation.  Interesting interaction and not the usual Beane interview.

Listening as well...definitely caught me off guard.  Don't think Jeremy White was expecting that either lol..Very awkward start to this interview but they both have seemed to settle in now and back on track

Wow - Beane went off of them. Jeremy and Joe were a bit defensive but didn't back off, saying, "Beane, you should listen more often, there's a lot we liked about the draft."  Beane going off on them was a bit weird

Jeremy White bases his whole radio personna on a "WR TRAIN" and when the topic comes up direct with the GM, he folds.  THAT was his opportunity to speak direct to the GM about the fact this WR room is substandard compared to virtually every other top team in the league. And he whiffed.  This is what happens when you have a press corps thats a social club full of fanboys/girls. Jeremy doesnt want to lose access to the club room with the good sushi, I guess.

I think Beane is sick of the press scrutiny and took it out on them.  Very unlike Beane, he could have handled it better

Disagree - Jeremy didn't back down, he defended the show and his stance.  Beane calmed down a little bit

I love the way BB came into the conversation. Seems like the "WR train" talk on 'gr is a constant topic. Bad radio imo. WR is not the reason the Bills have not advanced in the playoffs. The "d" has come up small year after year. I was hoping that the Bills focused heavily on strengthening that side of the ball in this draft.

He did come in hot and of course it caught the show off guard - but I also get him getting a little peeved that some radio jockeys think they are smarter than the hours and hours of hard work beans and his team just put into this draft. There’s ego on both ends but I can get why he got annoyed

Today’s appearance began with the GR boys discussion of the lack of attention at the WR position in the recently completed draft.  Apparently, Beane was listening prior to his segment and suggested that the team had PLENTY at WR and this isn’t “Madden” … uncharacteristic for the usually unflappable Beane … entertaining radio fo a change 😂
