A bit part is getting off press and his short arms restrict him there. I think you can do some stuff with him vertically if you can get him in advantageous situations vs bracket zone coverages but he isn't going to be a consistent enough outside vertical guy to back teams off the line with any regularity. That isn't saying don't sign him. I like the idea. Just be realistic about what it is. I do think he would add the horizontal speed aspect that they talked about more than the vertical aspect for sure. I wonder if signing Palmer was their solution to the vertical aspect even though he doesn’t run particularly fast 1 Quote

I have thought he would be a guy to keep an eye on. Beane loves having a long in the tooth vet at WR on the roster. Allen is only 1 year removed 2023-2024 from having a monster season with the Bolts. Look if they can add Moore I will feel a lot better going into this year about the WRs than I did going into last year before the Cooper trade but I'm still not sure they have that true downfield outside guy I really wanted them to find. 1 Quote

I just think that Brady is of the ilk of get me guys who can RAC and I’ll scheme them to get open. He does this well with guys particularly when it comes to the middle of the football field. I would feel better with Moore as well and because of his age you would hope he has some upside still or having a better QB allows for increased production Quote

If we sign this guy, the exact same people moaning about not doing anything with the WR room and not getting a guy with speed will turn around and say this isn’t the guy. Duh! At the very least it is extremely easy to predict their reactions to almost any move Beane makes or McDermott, for that matter.. Soooo consistent... Quote
Bag of Milk Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I remember former Bills scout AJ Highsmith( He is now director of scouting for the Titans) raving about Elijah Moore the week after the Jets picked him Highsmith said that Elijah Moore was his draft crush Also, Lance Zierlien in his scouting report on NFL.com had Moore's NFL comparable player as Antonio Brown. Kirby Jackson Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I haven’t read the whole thread yet but did anyone reference his dog pee celebration in the egg bowl? I liked that too. Would love to see him simulate urinating on the Chiefs or Dolphins logo 🤣🤣 Quote

Maybe it's the way CLE used him? 4.35 speed is enticing though, can he run go routes? Big enough? Mikie2times Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Moore would be an excellent addition. IMO he has a much higher ceiling than what he has shown thus far and has been dragged down by atrocious QB play his first 4 years. 1 Quote
C.Biscuit97 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I wanted this a few years ago but he’s been pretty mid for a while. Obviously it would be a huge qb upgrade and it’s better than nothing. He does have talent. we have the ultimate fantasy waiver wire receiving core. 2 Quote
dave mcbride Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) In 2018, Ole Miss had as their receiving corps AJ Brown, DK Metcalf, Dawson Knox, Elijah Moore(!), and some guy named Demarkus Lodge who had 65 catches. Their QB had the highest passing-yards-per-game average in the nation too. Yet they managed to go 5-7. To be fair, their defense was atrocious (113th out of 130 teams in points allowed).
