We don;t know what to do with ourselves when things are good so we keepo moving the goalposts and act like this is all still failure. Back in the drought era fans had every right to complain, and whether or not Jerry was an ass, he was absolutely unafraid to hold people's feet to the fire. I also thought he was underrated as an actual writer. But I definitely see your point Quote

GM comes from team that undervalues drafting receivers and undervalues drafting receivers. More at 9. 100. This is the Carolina panthers 2.0. OL DL qb. Then a big tall wr (kelvin Benjamin and Keon Coleman) and fill out roster best you can . 1 Quote

And anyone thinks it's time to clean house deserves the Bills having a 25-year playoff drought. I’m not saying he’ll be fired. Media / fan scrutiny and pressure. You don’t think he feels pressure ? At all? He wouldn’t act like he did today then Quote
bills6969 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Beane’s counter is valid. They rightfully prioritized dline and CB early in this draft. The WR class was pretty weak overall. Would we feel any better about our WR room if we took a WR in the 5th round??? Quote
ALLinALLEN Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Didnt like the way Beane handled himself today. If you're letting the WGR clowns fire you up you must really be butt hurt about the topic. Not a good look. Then you bring in Elijah Moore the same day. After you've dumpster dove (like previously posters said) on guys like Sherfield, Beasley and Brown again, etc.... 1 1 Quote

Their job is to make you angry. That is about the ugliest way to make a living: stoking anger. Don't act like there's any bravery involved. Quote
GunnerBill Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I also think Jeremy was salty at the end "we are not playing fantasy football, we are smarter than that, and we are not here to be belittled" It was all a bit tense. Anyone know where Joe was during the whole thing? He was happy for Jeremy to take the heat 🤣 Quote

Yeah according to Gettleman you had to get those big old "hog mollies" as he called them over everything else. The best receivers on the Panthers 2015 Super Bowl team were Philly Brown, Ted Ginn, and Jericho Cotchery lol Quote

I used to 100% blame McD for the shortcomings on offensive weapons but after todays encounter I do lean more towards your line of thought but I’m sure McD isn’t mad at it lol Quote

BillMafia716ix Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If Coleman and Kincaid step up this season, the receiving core can be even better than last year. Quote

But honestly this is the way Brandon believes teams should be built. He said it again in that interview today "you gotta have a Quarterback, and then you gotta be good up front." Given a choice between a lineman and a receiver he will always go lineman. It is just who he is. It is like anything, I am now a director at work and I sometimes catch myself making decisions or even using phrases that I go "man I sound just like the guy who was director when I started at bottom of the totem pole." We are all influenced by the professional cultures and philosophies we are exposed to earlier in our careers. And to be clear - just in case Brandon is reading - I think he is a good general manager and I think he just had the best first 2 days of any draft since he snagged Josh Allen. You can believe that and still say the data supports him undervaluing receiver compared to the rest of the NFL. It is what it is. Edited 3 hours ago by GunnerBill 2 Quote
