balln Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Yea I’m not sure how anyone could have listened to that interview and not feel that BB was defensive. And angry. usually when people are like that - is because it’s true (BB/ bills under value WR) or feels like outsiders view him as not doing an overall good job as a GM / attacked Edited 4 hours ago by balln 1 Quote

HappyDays Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago 47 minutes ago, ndirish1978 said: I disagree. We invested our first pick last year on WR, we signed Palmer this year. We have Curtis Samuel and Khalil Shakir at WR. That is 4 players. At DT We have Oliver and a 3rd rd pick in Carter that couldn't get on the field last year and was a healthy scratch behind street FAs, that's it. DaQuon Jones is pretty much done, he's more likely to get cut than make the roster. So you're looking at a position that has 4 starters vs 1 that has a single starter. In that specific instance a 4th rounder at DT is absolutely able to be a difference-maker whereas a 4th rounder at WR would have to unseat one of 3 vets on substantial contracts or Coleman. Your numbers are off. First of all, 5 WRs on the roster are going to contribute. Whereas just 4 DTs are going to be your primary rotation - we did after all only keep 4 on the roster last year. Oliver, DQ, Sanders, Ogunjobi, Carter gives us 5 so even accounting for Ogunjobi's suspension we already had the room filled out before adding Walker. Meanwhile at WR we have a PS player and a former bust competing for the #5 spot. So I just completely disagree with you that an extra DT has more potential to contribute than an extra WR. Also, the important thing with WR is we are missing a specific skill set which is of course vertical traits. Beane himself has admitted this. We met with all of the vertical WRs in the class so he can't act shocked when people are concerned about the position, clearly he knew it was a problem but didn't make the necessary moves to fix it. I agree the DT room was weak heading into the class, but we at least had bodies that could fill whatever role we needed. As of right now we still do not have a vertical WR on the roster. 1 1 Quote

balln Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Wished Jeremy and Joe came back with ok Brandon - if you’re so happy with the wr room. Why are you calling Beasley John brown out of retirement. And burning a 3rd round pick for old man cooper late in seasons ? 1 1 1 Quote

We don't know what to do with ourselves when things are good, so we keep moving the goalposts and act like this is all still failure. Edited 4 hours ago by PromoTheRobot Quote

Josh Allen’s and Jim Kelly’s don’t come around but every 30 years. so every little detail will be magnified beane knows it. He just worsened the pressure today - he’s put Kincaid and Coleman and himself on the spotlight for having to come through. 1 Quote

And anyone thinks it's time to clean house deserves the Bills having a 25-year playoff drought. 2 Quote
