Virgil Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago As much as I was not a fan of Sanders custom draft room, the kid who made the prank call deserves some repercussions. Quote

Eh super classless move but there's not much reprimanding you can do I was taught really young sticks and Stones can break your bones.. this is basically the same thing but a prank instead of getting made fun of Super classless and douchebag move but all his father can do is probably ground him.. you can't send him to jail, no crime was committed... It was a low blow move Quote

I'd bet my next paycheck that every one of those draftee cellphones has their number posted to 4chan the night before the draft next year It’s not the prank call - it’s that the source was from inside the NFL, a coach’s son, and the optics of poor security of personally identifiable information. Do they also have player’s SS # in their databases? Perhaps for background checks there might be a lot of sensitive data in a coach’s hands, and this incident creates suspicion about data security. Not to mention it is super embarrassing for a league that struggles with PR in personnel matters. Edited 9 hours ago by WotAGuy Quote

It was a low blow move I'm honestly surprised his dad didn't at least get suspended. That phone number is confidential for a reason. If I somehow gave up access to my confidential work information, there would def be repercussions. I hope that kid is at least getting hazed or something 😜 Quote
947 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago The NFL will surely create some version of the Bat Phone for next year. Some kind of secure line to each player that only the GMs phones can access. Quote

Agreed. Multiple other players got such calls including the Bills OL pick. Apparently because SS didn’t have an agent his # got sent to many NFL personnel. The agent can be the point person. Lot of mistakes by the Sanders family. But this kid and coach need some accountability. Quote
