DJ Chark and Elijah Moore are both under 30, sub 4.35 guys (Moore 4.32, Chark 4.34)....

If we sign Chark I'm going to have Baby Shark in my mind all season.

I think I prefer Moore.

Moore is pretty much a duplicate of Samuel.  Great recorded speed but not really a deep threat, more of a screen guy.

Every time I have posted his name that damn song starts in my head.

He needed surgery on his wrist and decided to try and play through it.

I don't think he wants to play anymore

Regardless of his skills, my sense is that Cooper’s personality doesn’t fit with the character of this team.  He’s like the guy at a party who doesn’t move from his corner chair and barely engages with any of the others.

And I would be fine trying either of those guys.  But, they don't have the best history of success.  Would remind me of the MVS signing without the important catches in big games.  But if Beane wants to try them, fine with me.  Maybe catching balls from a real NFL QB could help them break through, but I am looking for a little more of a proven commodity that the league respects.  I don't think even with their speed the league respects either of these guys.  But hey.....throw a dart.

I don’t know why he wasn’t on the field all the time

He couldn't block with the injured wrist.

Sports fans, especially the Mafia, are great fun. One wish I had for the average fan is a greater respect for injuries and their resulting limitations. Both here with Amari, and the shade being dropped on Kinkaid, show that lack of respect.

The margin for success among the NFL's world-class athletes is razor thin. If someone is playing with an injury, that margin is gone. Back to Kinkaid, I am excited to see what he will do in '25.

He was fading fast before the injury.

Against the Rams, they targeted him a whopping 14 times--he caught 6 balls.  After the they were essentially done with him as a pass catcher.

Bringing him back would certainly satisfy Beane's kink for washed up WRs on their way out of the league, but I think even he doesn't have a 1 year contract with Cooper's name on it in his pile.
