T.E. Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Chiefs just drafted Royals. Can't wait to see how our 9th DT in the rotation shuts down that KC passing offense! 1 4 2 2 2 1 Quote

That’s what makes it fun to laugh at and also you know we are having a great draft because the board hates most of the picks. Facts!! I know nothing about prospects, don't participate in draft talk , but ya it's hilarious seeing the meltdowns from these armchair GMs. It was obvious we needed help on DL and a CB2 , Beane went hard with both so far, I love it. I trust Beane and our scouts by far over anyone on here or in the media Edited 23 hours ago by JerseyBills Quote

This is the opposite. Low floor high ceiling but bust potential. At least Beane is taking a swing on a potential difference maker which is what we need Can you even call 3rd day draft picks busts... chances are 3rd day players won't be anything special. 1 2 Quote

It seems like a lot of people forget that aside from Ed, Groot, Carter, and Javon Solomon are the only guys not on a one year deal on the DL this season. Then the two DL they signed as FAs are on the shelf for the first six games. DL absolutely needed to be addressed. 1 Quote

They want to create the best finished product. It's interesting. Especially when you think about what they did with players like Spencer Brown, Groot, Bernard, even AJ... They tried with Elam, but it failed... And no one hits 100%... I think they had the same idea with Coleman and Bishop last year... 1 Quote

bigK14094 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Bills are in an all out panic about the D line. three free agent signings, and three draft picks in the first four rounds of this years draft. Not a good look for the master planner Beane. I know they carry 10 on the 54, but, seems over the top to me. Trouble ahead here is my read no matter how these new adds come out. I wonder if they will all know each others names by the time of the first game. (or know the D) 2 2 1 Quote

Interesting to me that they took him over Farmer, considering the visits they had with Farmer. Also, surprised they felt they needed to trade up for him, since the ratings I saw for Walker had him going lower. ESPN has Walker 10 rating points less than Farmer, for whatever that is worth. Not worth much. The draft always proves how much we wasted our time in the offseason looking at mock drafts Quote
aristocrat Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago First I’m hearing of the back injury on this guy. Very concerning as if this guy needs surgery he better not wait Quote

If not, Walker/Jones is your 1T rotation, with Oliver/Sanders at 3T. Ogunjobi can play both when he comes back. Carter becomes the wait and see guy. Already discussing moving him to 1T, so he better come correct this camp. I was kind of thinking the same thing. Looking at t heir roster including the two suspended players, they have 12 D lineman likely to make the roster. Usually they will keep 9 or 10 on the roster. The two being suspended may save Jones or someone may need to slip on a banana peel during training camp to create a spot. Quote

However I have to give him props for addressing the problem, with youth as opposed to washed veteran retreads. They got bigger on the front end, faster at cb, and younger. Got to give the man credit. I hope it pays off. Quote
aristocrat Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago https://www.on3.com/teams/kentucky-wildcats/news/deone-walker-back-injury-kentucky-football-nfl-draft-uk-pro-day/ this guy is an absolute dog playing with that injury when he could have sat. Get this guy in our facility asap so he’s good to go. If he gets back to 23 form we got a dude 1 Quote
